Which story? Just call my tiger or do I need to say more??! Harrr harr – just kidding :-)
Do you remember your first day on a snowboard?
Haha, yes for sure – I was really untalented. My snowboard teacher screwed my bindings about 10 times from goofy to regular and back again, because I wasn’t able to make turns. And the best thing about it, was the setup: race bindings, skiing shoes – tight pants and tight stance! Yeahhh!
How did you learn new tricks back in the days?
Back in the days? I am still learning new tricks ... but in farmer times it always helped me, to try it a few times in powder first. On rails I just concentrated and tried it and suddenly it worked out. Sure some bails did and will always happen, but if everything would work on the first try it would be boring.
Why did you never stop snowboarding since then?
My skis broke!
You probably have visited a bunch of different ski resorts already. What is your favorite place, what was the most exotic and where would you like to live and ride in the future?
I have to say that there are a lots of amazing parks and resorts in Europe in the meantime. I love to live, travel and ride here with my friends, because we have so many naturally spots. But I really would love to spend some time for riding in Skandinavia and Chile – have never been there so far, but we will see what happens in the future.
You also must have seen tons of snowboard videos in the past.
What´s your favorite video part and why do you remember it?
I’d rather go snowboarding by myself then sitting inside and watch snowboard movies all day long ...
But I am a real fan of the movie „In Short“. Just love the mix out of snowboarding and the landscape settings. And there ist his 12-year old Scottish boy, called Jamie Nicholls, who is riding incredibly all day long on mats, on a little green hill in Scottland. It’s just so much fun to watch that little kid rocking in the middle of nowhere. You can feel his passion to the sport although he is a little Scottsman – he kicks ass!
Let us know about your favorite trick! Do you have any specials in your trick bag?
In general I think every trick is special, if you do it with your own style. But at the moment my favourite trick is a simply FS 360 indy. I just learned FS spins over big kickers this season, I was always a “Backsider” and scared to spin frontside, but I love it right now. So give your fear a chance, chackaaa!
What do you like most about Völkl Snowboards?
The boards, the team, the trips, the parties, the people who care about us – Völkl is fun.
I am gonna tell my grandchildren once about it, who knows – maybe they will ride Völkl cyber boards then, haha weird thoughts …

Music Please! Entertainment is important, good music motivates me a lot, when I am riding.
It sometimes takes control over my snowboarding, haha. And at the moment its all about my brand new 16 GB ipod touch from Colorado – I am lovin it!
How do you make your stomach happy? You for sure have some favorite drinks and food!?
Hmm, I have to confess, that I am a real bad cook, so its amazing, if somebody cooks for me.
But at all I really love fresh fruits, salads and cereals ... and by the way, I wouldnt say no to a Vodka Red Bull :-)
What was your best experience so far in life? Can you explain a little?
Meeting great people all over the world, fresh powder and bluebirds, family and friends, travelling to lots of beautiful places and just enjoying my life with all its good and bad sides.
AND doing that hugeee cliffdrop last season, boom chicka wah wah!!!
And finally what is your biggest dream?
Staying healthy and making my dreams come true someday.
If i can live my dream, the biggest dream becomes true.
